One person died from a fall on Saturday at Starved Rock State Park in LaSalle County, authorities said.
Details weren’t immediately available, but the Illinois Department of Natural Resources confirmed one person was pronounced dead following a fall prior to 7:40 p.m.
Starved Rock, a popular destination for hikers, fishing and boating, is located in the town of Oglesby, approximately 100 miles southwest of Chicago.
