SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The second of two state prison offenders placed on escape status in May has been brought back into custody.
Offender Ryan Shot With Arrow was arrested in Sioux Falls on July 4th and is currently being held in the Minnehaha County Jail.
Shot With Arrow and Adam Poor Bear left the Rapid City Minimum Center without authorization on May 29.
Poor Bear was apprehended in Rapid City on May 31 and was transported to the Pennington County Jail.
An offender leaving a correctional facility without authorization constitutes second-degree escape, a Class 5 felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
