SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – After three days of enduring sweating through extreme heat and humidity, not to mention swatting away a number of unwanted insects, a select few of the 182 teams that started play in the 2024 USA Softball South Dakota State A & B Fast Pitch Tournament were rewarded with championships on Sunday.

In the 18U division of the State A Tournament the Brookings Outlaws charged through bracket play undefeated and into the title game, but ran into a wagon from Harrisburg in Catalyst National, who won the first game of their championship series 5-1 to force a second, winner-take-all game in which they dominated 16-3 to claim the title. 14U CHAMPION-Catalyst National (Harrisburg) beat TSC Thunder (Harrisburg) 12-2

12U CHAMPION-Next Play 605 (Sioux Falls) beat SD Players (Tea) 17-2

10U CHAMPION-SD Players (Tea) beat Dakota Dynamite (Sioux Falls) 4-0

14U CHAMPION-Tea Lightning beat Brandon Valley Blitz 9-2

12U CHAMPION-Dirty Diamonds (Rapid City) beat Yankton Fury Diamonds 8-2

10U CHAMPION-Fusion Heat (Brandon) beat Brandon Valley Blitz 7-1
