RAPID CITY, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The South Dakota State Little League Baseball Tournament got off to a wild and thrilling start on Thursday night in Rapid City.
Down 9-3 in the sixth inning, Canyon Lake scored seven runs to stun Sioux Falls 10-9 and advance into the winner’s bracket. Click on the video viewer above for highlights!
In the late game Rapid City Youth Baseball defeated Capital City 4-0.
Rapid City will face Canyon Lake tomorrow at 6:00 PM CST. That will be followed by Sioux Falls and Capital City in an elimination game at about 8:30 PM CST.
The tournament concludes on Sunday.
