Maine State Police says a “police incident” in Old Orchard Beach has come to an end and that there is no threat to the public. (WGME)
OLD ORCHARD BEACH (WGME) — Maine State Police says a “police incident” in Old Orchard Beach has come to an end and that there is no threat to the public.
Police had advised the public to stay away from Landry’s Shop ‘n Save on Cascade Road around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Officials have shut down the road at the intersection of Miles Avenue and Portland Avenue.
Part of Cascade Road is also closed.
Maine State Police is investigating the incident and says it will release more information shortly.
