The Belington Little League All-Stars are head to the 10-12-year-old state tournament for the first time in nearly 60 years. The team had special visitors to practice last week as a few members from the 1968 state tourney squad, including Terry Sipe, Jimmy White, Bill Corder, Rex Reed and Tom Price, shared stories and gave advice to this year’s team. Belington finished as the runner-ups in the District 8 tournament to earn a berth to the state tourney, which will be held July 18-24 in Madison.
