The 2024 Home Run Derby gets underway at 8 p.m. ET on Monday. This competition has been played since 1985 and now the winner takes home $1 million. Pete Alonso has his eyes on his third Derby title after winning in 2019 and 2021. Last year, Seattle’s Julio Rodriguez defeated Alonso in the first round 41-21.
