Greatness is defined by history.

And in the 100-year existence of the New York Giants, the significance of having earned a place in the franchise annals is not lost on any of those who have.

Eight NFL championships, four Super Bowl titles and the Vince Lombardi Trophies to show for them.

Sixteen players in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and 37 players recognized in the Giants’ Ring of Honor, including 14 who have had their jersey numbers retired.

With respect to the coaches and team officials and a nod to Wellington Mara’s mantra of “Once a Giant, Always a Giant,” here is our countdown of the Top 100 players to ever play for Big Blue.

We’ll unveil the list in four parts, beginning with Nos. 100-76, which includes a collection of 12 Super Bowl rings with the Giants, four NFL champions and 13 Pro Bowlers with one player recognized in the franchise’s Ring of Honor:

No. 100. Jeff Feagles

Pos.: P. Years: 2003-2009

Teams: Patriots, Eagles, Cardinals, Seahawks, Giants

Achievements: Super Bowl XLII champ. Two-time Pro Bowler. NFL records for most career punts (1,713) and most career punting yards (71,211).

No. 99. Ron Stone

Pos.: G. Years: 1996-2001

Teams: Giants, Cowboys, 49ers, Raiders

Achievements: Six seasons as the starter at right guard, where he was named to 2 Pro Bowls and 2 All-Pro teams. A two-time Super Bowl champion, also reached Super Bowl with Giants, losing to the Ravens.

No. 98. Bob Tucker

Pos.: TE. Years: 1970-1977

Teams: Giants, Vikings

Achievements: Finished with 422 catches for 5,421 yards and 27 touchdowns.

No. 97. Saquon Barkley

Pos.: RB. Years: 2018-2023

Teams: Giants

Achievements: Offensive Rookie of the Year. Pro Bowl. Set a rookie record for running backs with 91 receptions. Fourth all-time with 5,211 yards in his career. Two-time Pro Bowler.

No. 96. Lawrence Tynes

Pos.: K. Years: 2007-12

Teams: Chiefs, Giants

Achievements: 2-time Super Bowl champion. Kicked the Giants to a pair of Super Bowls, both in overtime. Made the second-most field goals in franchise history (122) at an 83.6% clip.

No. 95. Brian Kelley

Pos.: LB. Years: 1973-83

Teams: Giants

Achievements: Started 130 of 143 career games, member of the “Crunch Bunch.” Led the Giants in tackles from 1974-76.

No. 94. Joe Wostoupal

Achievements: First-team All-Pro.

No. 93. Bill Paschal

Pos.: RB. Years: 1943-1947

Teams: Giants

Achievements: First-team All-Pro (1944). 2-time NFL rushing champion (1943, 1944).

No. 92. Plaxico Burress

Pos.: WR. Years: 2005-2008

Teams: Steelers, Giants, Jets

Achievements: Super Bowl champion. NFL Comeback Player of the Year (Jets). Caught game-winning touchdown in Super Bowl XLII.

No. 91. Jack McBride

Pos.: RB/QB. Years: 1925-1928, 1932-1934

Teams: Giants

Achievements: 2-time NFL champion (1927, 1934). First-team All-Pro (1925).

No. 90. Rich Seubert

Pos: G. Years: 2001-10

Teams: Giants

Achievements: One of the toughest players to ever suit up for the franchise. Undrafted free agent became a glue guy on the offensive line and was indispensable, playing his entire career with the Giants. Super Bowl XLII champ.

Teams: Giants, Redskins

Achievements: 3-time Pro Bowler. First-team All-Pro (2016).

No. 88. Ahmad Bradshaw

Pos.: RB. Years: 2007-2012

Teams: Giants, Colts

Achievements: 2-time Super Bowl champion. Seventh all-time in rushing yards (4,232) with 32 career touchdowns, including the game-winner – albeit reluctantly – in Super Bowl XLVI. As gritty as they come.

Pos.: CB/P/QB/RB. Years: 1950-1955

Teams: Giants

Achievements: Pro Football Hall of Fame (as coach of Cowboys); First-team All-Pro (1954). Pro Bowl (1954).

No. 86. Kareem McKenzie

Pos.: OT. Years: 2005-11

Teams: Jets, Giants

Achievements: The New Jersey native was an anchor at right tackle and helped balance the offensive line in the Giants’ two Super Bowl runs in 2007 and 2011.

No. 85. Butch Gibson

Achievements: First-team All-Pro (1931).

No. 84. Jack Stroud

Achievements: 3-time Pro Bowler.

Achievements: Dominant blocker in the run game. Only player to represent Giants in Super Bowl XXV (win) and Super Bowl XXXV (loss). Played 207 games with the franchise, trailing just Michael Strahan (216) and Eli Manning (236).
