Would you believe that it’s already been 31 years since Ruffa Gutierrez won Binibining Pilipinas World?

On Instagram, the actress and beauty queen looked back on her reign and shared some stunning portraits on Instagram. The pictures show her in a red dress with black beads, her crown, and a beauty queen’s smile.

“Balik tanaw… 31 years ago,” Ruffa said in her caption. “18-yr old me when I was crowned Binibining Pilipinas World 1993 at the Araneta Coliseum.”

“Time flies indeed,” she added.

Ruffa’s fellow beauties like Nicole Cordoves, Katarina Rodriguez, Stacey Gabriel, and actress Sunshine Cruz left comments, calling her a queen and icon.

Following her crowning as Binibining Pilipinas World, Ruffa was named second runner-up in Miss World 1993.

Ruffa, along with her fellow Binibining Pilipinas queens, are among the hosts of the 2024 coronation happening on Sunday, July 7 at the Araneta Coliseum.

Aside from being a public figure, Ruffa is also a loving mom to Lorin

and Venice Bektas, and partner to Herbert Bautista.

Ruffa earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts at PWU in 2022 at the age of 48, and is now pursuing a Master of Arts major in Communication Arts.
