The Triple Crown season is over, but the summer season in American horse racing heats up with the 2024 Haskell Stakes on Saturday. The Haskell Stakes is a 1 1/8-mile race that has been held at Monmouth Park since 1968. Belmont Stakes winner Dornoch will head up an impressive 2024 Haskell Stakes field along with Belmont runner-up Mindframe and previous stakes winner Timberlake. Mindframe is the 9-5 favorite in the 2024 Haskell Stakes odds as he preps for a rematch with Dornoch (5-2). One surprise: Yu is high on the chances of Tuscan Sky, even though he’s an underdog at 9-2. Trained by Todd Pletcher, this son of Vino Rosso out of the Sky Mesa mare South Andros has three wins in four starts, including a 6 3/4-length win in the Pegasus Stakes just over a month ago.

He’s posted HRN speed figures of 100 or better in all three of those victories, breaking his maiden in his first career start at Aqueduct in January, winning an allocation race at Fair Grounds in February and then romping at Monmouth Park in his last start.
