Japanese boyband Da-iCE released their latest digital single, “Story,” on Monday, July 8. This new track has been chosen as the opening theme for the anime series “FAIRY TAIL: 100 YEARS QUEST.”
The “FAIRY TAIL” manga series, which began in 2006, has garnered a global fanbase and evolved into a franchise with anime adaptations, feature films, stage plays, video games, and merchandise. Nearly two decades later, the sequel series “FAIRY TAIL: 100 YEARS QUEST” has started, with Da-iCE’s “Story” as its theme song.
Composed by Da-iCE member Hayate Wada, “Story” is a high-energy rock tune. The digital single also includes “Imitation,” a danceable track with catchy hooks composed by group member Taiki Kudo, created for a collaboration campaign between Da-iCE and Kirin Lemon.
In April, Da-iCE’s song “I Wonder” saw a rise in fan-made videos on TikTok with the hashtag #DiceKuruKoiDance, due to its easy-to-follow dance steps. The track continues to perform well on music download and streaming charts. Da-iCE’s music remains popular and continues to attract new listeners.
