MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis Fire Department extinguished a fire in Frayser on Thursday.
The fire happened at a building off Whitney Avenue and Northgate Street around 4 a.m.
Firefighters said the fire started in the front living room area.
The cause of the fire was incendiary, said MFD.
Authorities say it was a vacant building that was possibly a home converted into a church.
The fire cause about $59,000 worth of damage.
No one was injured.
